Hello everyone, today when a new councilor ma’am, who is psychologist, came to our class and we were introducing ourselves, so she asked a word ‘friends’. Who are friends? At that moment, I was completely blank with no thoughts coming in the brain. And then I thought that I should put my effort and write, whatever I understand from the above title.

A friend is someone, who is the second closest person or living being after ourselves. Friendships, which forms in childhood, always lasts longer than any friendship formed in any other time period of our lives. The role of a friend is just not limited to sharing and caring but instead they are the one’s whom we trust and feel comfortable to talk and share anything which we like. Friends understands and respects other’s feelings, mental beauty, physical appearance and internal beauty.

Friendships have mutual understanding as a common feature. Friendship act as supporters, who always support us, either we are achieving or down-falling in our lives. A good parent should be not only familiar but also friendlier to their child to make them comfortable to share anything, they wish to share.

Friend and friendship is not just a word, It is a holy relationship between any two peoples of any age. In today’s world, it is very much difficult to find a trustworthy friend, with whom we can form a covalent bond.

Friendships are non-conditional bonding and are often embedded with unconditional love. A good friend never ever fights or quarrels after being ignited from a third person, instead they try to sort out the plan and also the problem creator. They try to never get depressed for anything and are always ready to create a smile on our face, when we are sad. A true friend never lies, even if they know, we would lose our temper on them, if they converse the truth. They might tell us in installments but will always think for our good.

There are jokes in friendships to make other feel happy and good but friendship is not a joke. The most wonderful thing, I liked in the friendship is the code words used to describe something or our likes/unlikes of either about thing or being like ‘girls’, amongst ourselves.

Like the eastern part of India have seven states (Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura), which are also known as seven sisters. In the same way, there is a friend circle of seven girls in my class, who have unity, sharing, caring, unconditional love, parental ego towards each other, trustworthy, secret-keepers of one-another, mutual understanding, covalent bonds and all the other features, required in a good friendship.

Friendship is never ever limited to either of a category of humans, you may have a good friendship with someone who is a boy, a girl, old peoples, your parents, your pet, trees, etcetra. This means, in friendship, there is ‘No-Age Restriction’ but this never means, you can share all your privacy with anyone, whom you believe as a friend. Not only you, but your mental heart should feel secured and safety, when you are with your friends. Safety and security is not just limited physically but also mentally and is directly proportional to your state of mind at that moment of time when you are spending time with them.

Choose your friends with all your heart. Never make someone a trustworthy, who had cheated others in a way or other. Friends have a great role to play in making your future.
