My GCI (Google Code-in) Experience (Task II)

My GCI (Google Code-in) Experience

By: Utkarsh

Hello everyone, today I will be sharing my experience of GCI in the form of blog. I heard the term ‘GCI’ or ‘Google Code-in’ for the first time in the year 2017 by my computer teacher in the last week of November. I registered in it and started doing a task, however I was unable to complete it within the time and it gone over my head. That time, I use to think that I should not take part in this from next time as it had very difficult tasks as I did not tried to find the tasks of my level.

This year, I was keeping my eye, on when the GCI will start and I was aiming that whenever it will start, I have to register immediately, so that I should get enough time to complete at least three tasks in it. The day came and I immediately registered for the GCI contest.

I am very happy, that I had registered for this open source development contest, which is helping me to enhance myself. I had recently completed my first task, which was on the programming with python for which I just had to download the python software, programme in it and after taking out the output had to send the screenshot of it to the mentors and my task was accepted.

I not only had completed a task by GCI, but also learned to programme in python. I learned it through a you-tube link provided in the task. It was fun to learn it. I will suggest everyone, to at least participate in GCI, so that you can enhance yourself even if you don’t know a single letter of coding.

I am planning to do three tasks this year. I will try to learn
and go more deep in programming in languages like java, C++, C, batch file, bash file, python and also in markup languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML and other languages. So this was all my experience about Google Code-in.

Thank you.

Yesterday while having a conversation with one of my college’s friends, I explained them the relation of my favorite subject and favorite person from which the title of this blog is derived. Also, there are both direct and indirect meanings of title exists as there is a word that is also part of TFC. Everyone here has been with basic Physics, where they might have learnt that Force is a physical quantity that describes the interaction between two objects, which can cause a change in motion, shape or state of rest of an object, which is expressed as F = ma and it’s SI unit is Newton. Well, we are not here to study Physics 😂 but yes, we will be relating it with the incidences as it best descr...
